The Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC)–Tesano on Sunday, 9th November 2025, held a special service to mark the end of its 40 Days of Fasting and Prayer. The service featured a sermon delivered by Pastor Benedict Eghan, who spoke on the theme “New Beginnings.”
During the message, Pastor Benedict highlighted the biblical principle that God continues to work in the lives of His people and in His church, ushering in new seasons and transitions. He supported his teaching with several scripture references, including Genesis 1:1–3, Romans 4:17, Isaiah 43:19, Hebrews 10:23, 2 Kings 7, Joshua 7, and 1 Peter 2:4–5.
Pastor Benedict encouraged the congregation to remain spiritually alert and sensitive to the new things God is doing. He explained that in every season, God is actively moving, restoring, and creating opportunities, even in circumstances that appear challenging.
As part of the sermon, Pastor Benedict outlined ten key areas he described as works God is performing in the lives of believers. These included divine guidance, fruitfulness in difficult areas, restoration of various aspects of life, including health, vindication, upliftment, renewed success, the experience of God’s goodness, favourable life outcomes, deeper fellowship with God, and a growing desire for purity.
Addressing the wider church community, Pastor Benedict also identified two major themes he said reflect God’s current work within His Church globally: the building of a more glorious church and the shaping of a kingdom-minded church. He noted that these developments represent a new phase in which believers are being prepared and positioned for greater impact.
The service concluded with a call for members to embrace the new season that the church believes God is initiating. Pastor Benedict encouraged congregants to continue walking in faith, expecting divine intervention, and aligning themselves with God’s agenda for both personal and corporate growth.
The 40 Days of Fasting and Prayer ended with renewed commitment among attendees to pursue deeper devotion, strengthened hope, and sustained trust in God.
