The Spheres of Society Clinic, held at Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) Tesano, was a powerful and purpose-driven event that aimed to equip believers to walk in excellence across all professional and vocational spaces.
The gathering opened in an atmosphere filled with deep worship and a spirit-led choir ministration, creating the perfect environment for God to move. The presence of God was tangible, setting the tone for what would become a transformational experience for every attendee.
In his keynote exhortation, Pastor Benedict Eghan took inspiration from Daniel 6:1–3, drawing attention to the “excellent spirit” that distinguished Daniel in a secular world. He challenged the congregation to pursue the same reputation in their respective spheres, whether as employees, business owners, civil servants, or volunteers. Referencing Colossians 3:17, Pastor Eghan emphasized that everything done “in the name of the Lord” must reflect the nature of the glorious God we serve—marked by success, integrity, and excellence.
The congregation then broke into various professional guilds, including educators, entrepreneurs, healthcare workers, and public servants. Each group engaged with an expert from within their field, sharing real-life experiences, practical strategies, and biblical perspectives on how to serve Christ faithfully through their work. It was a meaningful moment of mutual learning and encouragement—seasoned professionals and emerging practitioners speaking openly about challenges, triumphs, and godly influence.
Following the sessions, participants reconvened for a powerful time of prayer. Standing on the promises of Deuteronomy 28:13, they prayed for divine guidance, growth, and success in their careers and businesses. Pastor Eghan led the congregation in declarations, asking that every member’s profession become a platform for influencing others—whether subordinates, colleagues, or superiors—with the spirit and character of Christ.
In his final charge, Pastor Eghan reminded all present that our professions are not separate from our faith—they are kingdom assignments. Every task undertaken is a chance to advance God’s agenda on earth. He encouraged employers within the church to begin their workdays with devotionals and to prioritize fellow believers when employment opportunities arise.
The Spheres of Society Clinic closed with hearts stirred and minds renewed. The message was clear: Christians are called to influence the world not only within the church but beyond it—in every boardroom, classroom, office, and marketplace.
